Newport Corporation was established in 1969 as Newport Research Corporation. Newport first gained recognition in the advanced technology manufacturing and development field for their sophisticated steel-clad, honeycomb core tables designed to isolate laser experiments from vibration. They also offered a wide range of passive mounting parts to use on their antivibration tables. Later Newport introduced numerous active products for the photonic industry.
Simbol Test Systems can perform repairs and calibration on a number of Newport products; mostly active units (as opposed to passive optical alignement components). Although we cannot claim being specialist in that brand, with over 20 years of repair experience focused in optics, we have worked on many different Newport units so don't hesitate to communicate with us to explain the issue you face.
