Fujikura’s range of FASTConnect® allow you to terminate a fibre in less than a minute.
The FASTConnect® is a pre-polished connector which uses mechanical clamping and
aligning of a cleaved fibre end which is inserted into the connector body.
The FASTConnect® is available in both singlemode and multimode (OM1 and OM3
10 Gig) and a variety of connector types and can be terminated onto 250 µm and 900 µm
coated fibre as well as 2 mm and 3 mm jacketed cord. Low friction and drop cable
FASTConnect® are also available.
All FASTConnect® only need basic fibre preparation tooling and a fibre cleaver. An
additional handling jig can be used to terminate onto 2 mm/3 mm jacketed cord.
