Tektronix is a very old test equipment company founded in 1945. Tek is famous for the invention of the oscilloscope in 1946. Today Tektronix manufactures many different pieces of equipment but is not present in the Optical Test Equipment space. Tektronix, just like Fluke and Keithley is now a subsidiary of Fortive.
