The HP Agilent 81680A Tunable Laser Source has been discontinued for many years, but it remains a valuable TLS platform that is often worth repairing. Similar to the 81640A, the 81680A offers two outputs: a High Output port and a Low SSE port. Simbol has developed solid repair experience with this model and related 81680A and 81682A tunable laser sources, particularly when the original Agilent seals remain intact.

Because alarm messages on the display do not always identify the exact fault, we recommend contacting us with your model number and a brief description of the issue. We can review the reported problem, provide initial feedback, and issue an RMA with an estimated turnaround time. These units are generally serviced at a fixed repair rate when applicable.

Following calibration, your equipment may be returned with a calibration label, calibration certificate, and related calibration data. If the unit does not successfully complete calibration, we can evaluate the repair requirements and provide a repair quotation for approval before proceeding.
