AFL M710 Quad Multifunction OTDR Calibration and Repair Services
Simbol is an authorized Canadian distributor and service center for AFL Noyes, supporting customers who require qualified service for AFL and Noyes optical test products.
Simbol Test Systems provides professional in-lab AFL Noyes OPM5 Series optical power meter calibration and repair services to help maintain accurate, reliable performance for your fiber optic test equipment. The AFL Noyes OPM5 Series is a lineup of full-featured handheld optical power meters designed to measure optical power and insertion loss across a wide range of fiber optic network types.
The AFL Noyes OPM5 Series is known for field-ready operation, built-in data storage, rugged outside-plant design, and Wave ID automatic wavelength detection. Common models include the OPM5-2D with a Germanium (Ge) detector for premises LAN/WAN multimode and single-mode networks, the OPM5-3D with an Indium Gallium Arsenide (InGaAs) detector for telecommunications networks, and the OPM5-4D with a filtered InGaAs detector for high-power CATV broadband and DWDM applications.
If your unit shows measurement drift, reduced accuracy, connector interface wear, Wave ID detection issues, display or control faults, or other operating problems, we can review the failure condition and provide service recommendations based on the exact model configuration.
Following calibration, your equipment may be returned with a calibration label, calibration certificate, and related calibration data. If the unit does not successfully complete calibration, we can evaluate the repair requirements and provide a repair quotation for approval before proceeding.
Traceability: Instrumentation used during this calibration is traceable to N.I.S.T. (National Institute of Standards and Technology) or C.N.R.C. (Canadian National Research Council), where applicable.
Contact Simbol Test Systems with your AFL Noyes OPM5 model number and a brief description of the issue to request a calibration quote or repair evaluation.
