The AFL Noyes C840 is a handheld optical loss test set (OLTS) designed for troubleshooting and Tier 1 certification of both multimode and single-mode fiber optic networks.
The AFL Noyes C840 features a large indoor/outdoor transflective color touchscreen with an intuitive Touch and Test interface. It can be used as a standalone tester for optical power, light source, and visual fault locator functions, or as part of integrated certification systems such as the AFL Noyes C880 Kit and AFL Noyes C860 Kit.
The C880 Kit combines two C840 units for automated bidirectional, dual-wavelength certification testing against industry standards such as TIA, ISO, and EN. The C860 Kit combines one C840 tester with a C850 Compact QUAD OTDR, allowing technicians to perform both Tier 1 loss testing and Tier 2 OTDR trace validation on a single job site.
If your unit shows measurement drift, reduced accuracy, touchscreen or interface issues, connector wear, VFL problems, source instability, or other operating issues, we can review the failure condition and provide service recommendations based on the specific configuration.
Following calibration, your equipment may be returned with a calibration label, calibration certificate, and related calibration data. If the unit does not successfully complete calibration, we can evaluate the repair requirements and provide a repair quotation for approval before proceeding.
