The AFL Noyes OLS7 Series is a rugged handheld line of stabilized laser light sources engineered for single-mode fiber optic network testing.

The AFL Noyes OLS7 Series includes several model variations designed for different network architectures. The OLS7-FTTH transmits 1310 nm, 1490 nm, and 1550 nm for Fiber-to-the-Home insertion loss testing. The OLS7-FTTx transmits 1310 nm, 1490 nm, and 1625 nm for FTTx applications using out-of-band test channels. The OLS7-3 transmits 1310 nm, 1550 nm, and 1625 nm for standard telecom and CATV network testing.

If your unit shows reduced optical output, wavelength selection issues, output instability, connector wear or control problems, or other operating issues, we can review the failure condition and provide service recommendations based on the specific model configuration.

Following calibration, your equipment may be returned with a calibration label, calibration certificate, and related calibration data. If the unit does not successfully complete calibration, we can evaluate the repair requirements and provide a repair quotation for approval before proceeding.
