EXFO FiberBasix 100 Series Optical Test Equipment Calibration and Repair Services
Simbol Test Systems provides professional in-lab EXFO FiberBasix 100 Series calibration and repair services to help maintain accurate, reliable performance for your fiber optic test equipment. The EXFO FiberBasix 100 Series is a legacy line of rugged, budget-friendly handheld instruments designed for signal attenuation measurement, link loss verification, and day-to-day troubleshooting in LAN/WAN, premises, FTTx, and access fiber networks.
The EXFO FiberBasix 100 Series includes optical power meters, optical light sources, and optical loss test sets (OLTS). Power meter configurations include the EPM-102 standard model and the EPM-102X high-power version. Light source models include the ELS-100-12D multimode LED source, the ELS-100-23BL single-mode laser source, and the ELS-100-12D-23BL quad-wavelength hybrid source.
The series also includes integrated EOT-100 OLTS configurations such as the EOT-102-12D, EOT-102-23BL, EOT-102-235BL, and EOT-102X-23BL for combined optical power and insertion loss testing. Pre-configured field kits may include the FBK-101, FBK-102, and FBK-103, depending on the required multimode, single-mode, or mixed-fiber application.
If your unit shows measurement drift, reduced accuracy, unstable optical output, connector wear, display or control issues, or other operating problems, we can review the failure condition and provide service recommendations based on the exact model and configuration.
Following calibration, your equipment may be returned with a calibration label, calibration certificate, and related calibration data. If the unit does not successfully complete calibration, we can evaluate the repair requirements and provide a repair quotation for approval before proceeding.
Traceability: Instrumentation used during this calibration is traceable to N.I.S.T. (National Institute of Standards and Technology) or C.N.R.C. (Canadian National Research Council), where applicable.
