The EXFO MaxTester 730C (MAX-730C) is a lightweight handheld OTDR designed for FTTx/PON, point-to-point access, and metro link testing.

The EXFO MaxTester 730C is widely used for live fiber troubleshooting, event analysis, and splitter testing in access and distribution networks, with performance suited for demanding field applications including PON splitter verification up to 1 x 128. Although this platform is now considered a legacy model, it remains a trusted tool for network installation, maintenance, and fault location.
