Simbol Test Systems provides professional in-lab Corning OV-1000 Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) mainframe calibration and repair services to help maintain accurate, reliable performance for your fiber optic test equipment. All calibration services are performed in our laboratory using documented procedures, traceable standards, and experienced technical staff.

The OV-1000 is a rugged, modular OTDR mainframe platform designed for diagnosing, documenting, and troubleshooting fiber optic networks across LAN, Telco, CATV, and FTTx environments. It supports a range of plug-in OTDR modules, enabling flexible testing of single-mode and multimode fiber links. If the system exhibits measurement drift, reduced dynamic range, module communication faults, or general performance issues, we can evaluate the condition and provide appropriate service recommendations.

Following calibration, your equipment and modules may be returned with a calibration label, calibration certificate, and related calibration data. If the system or modules do not successfully complete calibration, we can evaluate the repair requirements and provide a repair quotation for approval before proceeding.

Traceability: Instrumentation used during this calibration is traceable to N.I.S.T. (National Institute of Standards and Technology) or C.N.R.C. (Canadian National Research Council), where applicable.
