The AFL PowerCleave® is a high-precision specialty fiber optic cleaver that combines ultrasonic blade technology with a tensile cleaving method. It is engineered to produce clean, flat, low-angle fiber end-faces for specialized laboratory, factory, and high-strength fusion splicing applications. By leveraging the Fujikura fiber holder system, the PowerCleave helps reduce manual fiber handling and supports more consistent cleaving results.
If the unit shows inconsistent cleave quality, high cleave angles, blade wear, fiber holder issues, ultrasonic operation problems, mechanical alignment concerns, communication faults, power issues, or other operating problems, we can review the failure condition and provide service recommendations.
All calibration services are performed in our laboratory using documented procedures, traceable standards, and experienced technical staff. Following calibration, your equipment may be returned with a calibration label, calibration certificate, and related calibration data. If the unit does not successfully complete calibration, we can evaluate the repair requirements and provide a repair quotation for approval before proceeding.
