Simbol Test Systems provides professional in-lab Fujikura FSR-115, FSR-116, and FSR-117 optical fiber recoater calibration and repair services to help maintain reliable performance for specialty fiber recoating, splice protection, and proof testing applications. The Fujikura FSR Series is designed to reconstitute the primary coating of optical fibers after stripping, processing, or fusion splicing.
The Fujikura FSR-115, FSR-116, and FSR-117 support single-fiber recoating across a wide range of coating and recoat diameters. These recoaters are used in specialty fiber, R&D, production, sensing, fiber laser, gyroscope, high-reliability splice, and power delivery applications where consistent coating quality and fiber concentricity are important.
The series features user-exchangeable molds, inserts, and shims, RFID mold identification, touchscreen operation, quartz glass molds, UV LED curing, and improved resin injection performance. The FSR-115 is a recoater-only platform, while the FSR-116 includes linear proof tension capability up to 2 kgf, and the FSR-117 supports mandrel-wrap proof testing up to 10 kgf, depending on the application and fiber type.
If your unit shows recoating inconsistency, resin injection problems, UV curing issues, touchscreen or interface faults, mold recognition errors, proof test problems, clamp or insert alignment issues, or other operating problems, we can review the failure condition and provide service recommendations based on the exact model and configuration.
Following calibration, your equipment may be returned with a calibration label, calibration certificate, and related calibration data. If the unit does not successfully complete calibration, we can evaluate the repair requirements and provide a repair quotation for approval before proceeding.
Traceability: Instrumentation used during this calibration is traceable to N.I.S.T. (National Institute of Standards and Technology) or C.N.R.C. (Canadian National Research Council), where applicable.
