Configuration Notes

Item Details
DOP Temperature Note The DOP value may temporarily increase if the temperature changes quickly. Typical DOP is less than 5% around room temperature from 15°C to 35°C.
Warm-up Time A warm-up time of approximately 30 to 60 minutes in static temperature conditions is required for specified DOP performance.
Modulation Frequency The modulation frequency for each birefringence modulator is fine-tuned at the factory for optimum operation.
Frequency Difference The frequency difference determines the measurement bandwidth limit.
Connector Options The standard configuration is a 900 µm loose tube pigtail without connectors. Other connector types may be specified at the time of order.
External Control Note Both external control methods must not be used at the same time.
