Instrumentation used during calibration is traceable to N.I.S.T. (National Institute of Standards and Technology) or C.N.R.C. (National Research Council Canada), where applicable.
Following successful calibration, equipment may be returned with a calibration label, calibration certificate and related calibration data. Available documentation depends on the equipment, calibration scope and selected service.
Calibration documentation may identify the instrument, manufacturer, model number, serial number, calibration date, service performed and applicable measurement results.
Reference instrumentation used during calibration is traceable to N.I.S.T. or C.N.R.C., where applicable. Please identify any specific certificate, measurement data or documentation requirements when requesting a quotation.
What Happens If the Instrument Does Not Pass Calibration?
If an instrument does not meet the applicable calibration criteria, Simbol Test Systems can evaluate the failure condition and determine whether adjustment, realignment, maintenance or repair may be required.
When additional corrective work is required, we can provide diagnostic findings and a repair quotation for approval before proceeding. No additional repair work will be performed until the quotation has been approved.
If corrective work is required, the repair requirements and applicable charges will be communicated for approval.
