Advanced Repair Capabilities
Simbol offers advanced repair capabilities across a broad range of electrical, telecom, and fiber optic test and measurement equipment. Over the years, we have developed specialized expertise that many calibration centers and repair facilities are not equipped to provide.
In many cases, we can perform repairs at a fraction of the cost charged by an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer). We are also often able to repair equipment that an OEM may decline to service or recommend for a complete overhaul when only a limited number of components require replacement.
Through years of hands-on experience in used test equipment sales and technical service, Simbol’s technicians have become highly experienced in repairing a wide variety of test and measurement instruments from many major brands.
Our repair and calibration facility occupies approximately 2,000 square feet (200 square meters) and is equipped with high-quality calibration and diagnostic equipment to support accurate technical evaluation and repair work.
Evaluation and Repair Process
Send us your defective electrical or optical equipment for evaluation at a low flat fee. Once the evaluation is complete, you will receive our diagnostic findings and recommendations. If the equipment is worth repairing, we will provide you with a repair quotation. No additional work will be performed until you approve the quote.
Repair or Replace?
If your equipment is defective, you may be wondering whether it makes more sense to repair it or replace it. Simbol can help you make that decision.
If, following the evaluation and recommendations, you decide not to proceed with the repair, the evaluation fee may be applied as a credit toward the purchase of the same model or a similar model from AssetRelay inventory. In some cases, we may also be able to make you an offer for your defective equipment.
