Our experience began in 2000 through collaboration with Ando, now part of Yokogawa, although Simbol no longer maintains a business partnership with Yokogawa. Over the years, we have developed custom software that facilitates automatic calibration tests, ensuring up-to-date results in the OSA calibration tables.

Ando was a Japanese corporation specializing in test equipment design and manufacturing. It was acquired by Yokogawa in the early 2000 decade. The most renown Ando product was its AQ6317B Optical Spectrum Analyzer. Since the purchase by Yokogawa, the OSA line moved to the AQ6370 series now with products in the visible range (AQ6373) as well as in very long wavelengths (AQ6375).
