Acterna, previously known as Wandel & Goltermann (WWG), developed industry-leading telecom and optical test systems, including SONET/SDH analyzers and platforms such as the ANT-20. These instruments remain widely used for network commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance verification.
Following industry transitions, Acterna became part of JDSU (now Viavi Solutions). Simbol Test Systems continues to support these legacy platforms, helping maintain measurement accuracy and extend equipment life even where manufacturer support is limited.
